Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking a Housekeeping Utility Worker. You will clean building areas, floors and surfaces, set up rooms for events, and remove trash to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The role requires experience with carpet care and floor finishing equipment, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a safe driving history if driving is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpet care and floor finishing preferred.
• Ability to operate carpet and floor care equipment safely.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of community areas, floors and surfaces.
• Properly dispose of waste and keep trash areas managed.
• Use work orders to set up rooms and furniture for events.
• Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages.
• Maintain hard floor surfaces (scrubbing, mopping, waxing) and carpet areas (vacuuming, extracting).
• Adhere to state regulations and safety policies.
