Job summary

Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Room Attendant to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness for members and guests. You will prepare carts, service rooms, and coordinate with the team to ensure a flawless guest experience.

The role requires you to stand for most of the shift, lift up to 50 pounds, pass a background check, and be at least 18. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and strong verbal, written, and listening skills are essential for courteous

• Able to stand and walk for 95% of the shift.
• Regularly lifts 25 pounds and occasionally lifts 50 pounds.

• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Obtains a list of vacant rooms that need to be cleaned.
• Prepare a housekeeping cart with the required supplies necessary to service the rooms (e.g., sheets, towels, robes, rugs, bathroom amenities, writing supplies, guest information, cleaning supplies, vacuum, etc.).
• Clean all rooms including trash removal, making beds, dusting furniture, washing windows, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor patios.
• Remove all room service dishes.
• Reports items that are broken or need repair.
• Provide courteous guest service.
• Replenishes bathroom amenities, writing supplies, and guest information.
• Interacts with guests and fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Manager.
