Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated hotel room attendant at our Salt Lake City property. You will maintain rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.

Key duties include cleaning bathrooms and living spaces, changing linens, restocking supplies, and assisting with room key logistics. A team-oriented mindset and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scrub and scour surfaces and work in confined spaces.
• Able to lift and move up to 100 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to pitch in and help coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe, clean guest experience.
• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces.
• Strip beds and change linens, lifting bedspreads up to 50 lbs.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout the room and empty trash.
• Restock amenities, linens and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
• Report maintenance issues and comply with attendance.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
