Description

Job Title: Room Attendant

Shift: Varies with facility needs; includes full-time and part-time positions

Breaks: Two breaks and one ½ hour lunch

Overtime: Seldom

Tools and Equipment: Household vacuum cleaner, mops, brooms, extendable wands, cleaning supplies, cleaning supply pushcart, uniforms

Work Environment

The work occurs at various hotel locations, including guest rooms, bathrooms, lounges, lobbies, and outdoor areas. Surfaces include cement, carpet, tile, and wood. The environment is well-lit and temperature-controlled, with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas
• Transport linens, replenish supplies, dust, polish, wash windows, and empty waste baskets
• Vacuum carpets, scrub floors, replace light bulbs, and move furniture as needed
• Assist with other duties as directed by management
