Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in each guest room. Responsibilities include refreshing rooms for ongoing guests and thoroughly cleaning rooms of checked-out guests in preparation for new arrivals.

Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
2. Restock and replace used items within guest rooms.
3. Communicate the clean status of each room upon completion.
4. Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms.
5. Stock and organize the supply cart at all times.
6. Check all equipment before and after use to ensure proper working order.
7. Respond to hotel guests efficiently and courteously.

Qualifications

1. Strong attention to detail.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours.
4. Ability and willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.
5. Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
6. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
