Job summary

Four Seasons in Colorado is seeking a Public Area Attendant to join the Housekeeping Team. You will maintain the public guest and employee areas with a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for service.

This role requires English proficiency and US work authorization, with a minimum of one year in a related role, preferably in a luxury hotel. The job offers a full-time schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience; luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operations.
• High level of attention to detail.
• English required and US work authorization required

Responsibilities

• Deep cleans lobby, elevators, public areas, and guest corridors.
• Performs floor care including sweeping, mopping, waxing, polishing and carpet cleaning.
• Removes trash from designated areas and disposes appropriately.
• Assists with duties in absence or high volume in Lobby Attendant/Housekeeper roles.
• Gives assistance to Guest Room Attendants; maintains clean corridors and storage areas.
• Interacts with guests to ensure hospitality and comfort; reports defects to management.
• Handles equipment safely and reports any accidents or damages.
• Performs additional cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor

Public Area Attendant

About the role

The Public Area Attendant is an integral part of the Housekeeping Team, maintaining the public guest and employee areas. A great eye for detail, a high sense of quality and integrity, and a passion for great service will make a successful candidate.

What you will do

• Deep cleans lobby, elevators, public area restrooms, employee locker rooms, guest corridors, and other service areas.


• Performs floor care. Sweeps and mops floors and stairwells. Seals, waxes, polishes tile, marble and brass. Cleans and shampoos carpet. Vacuums hallways and offices.


• Removes trash from designated areas and disposes trash in a central area


• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Lobby Attendant and Housekeeper.


• Gives assistance to Guest Room Attendants as required; keeps all guest corridors, elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean at all times


• Interacts with guests making them feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care of by handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality


• Is proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery, reports defects and accidents to management immediately


• Reports to your managers any damages/repairs/maintenance needs and a Health and Safety hazard


• Carries out any other cleaning duties as specified by your manager

What you bring

• Minimum 1 + year previous experience required in related position;in a luxury hotel setting preferred.


• Knowledge and the ability to operate cleaning equipment.


• Have a high level of attention to detail.


• Ability to understand and working knowledge of English required and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States.

Schedule & Hours

• This is a full-time position.


• A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule with the ability to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts, weekends and holidays.
