Job summary

The Classic Center in Georgia is seeking a part-time Convention Center Housekeeping team member for evening shifts. You will perform general custodial and housekeeping tasks to keep the venue clean and welcoming for events. This role requires evening/weekend availability, basic cleaning skills, physical stamina, and a team-oriented attitude.

A drug screen and background check are required. As part of the Operations Department, you will contribute to a clean, safe environment and support event

As a key member of the Operations Department, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your general housekeeping, cleaning, equipment handling, and leadership skills. TYPICAL WORK ROUTINE INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Extensive walking throughout the facility and facility grounds.
• Completion of tasks and daily assignments as assigned cooperatively.
• Perform general manual labor associated with set-up, custodial, maintenance, or housekeeping functions.
• Maintain the public image of the Operations Department at all times when in the service of The Classic Center.
• Maintain an irregular work schedule as required by the Operations Manager for events within The Classic Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have evening and weekend availability
2. Ability to demonstrate basic cleaning techniques
3. Ability to perform manual tasks requiring physical strength and perform reasonably heavy labor
4. Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions accurately
5. Related training and experience that offers a further understanding of custodial and housekeeping techniques is desirable
6. Ability and desire to work in a team environment and under the direction of a shift lead or manager on duty

The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
