Job summary

The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking a Public Space Attendant to keep the Sports Club spotless and inviting for members and guests in our luxury Northeast Florida resort. You will help maintain pristine fitness areas, lobby spaces, and common areas, delivering Forbes Five-Star service with attention to detail.

Experience in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus, with a flexible schedule across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Hospitality, fitness club, country club, or luxury resort experience is a plus.
• A positive attitude and passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the Sports Club, including fitness areas, lobby, locker rooms, studios, hallways, and public restrooms.
• Ensure towels, amenities, and supplies are fully stocked throughout the day.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Keep floors, windows, furniture, and common areas immaculate.
• Respond promptly to spills and maintenance concerns to ensure a safe environment.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Provide friendly, professional assistance to members and guests while maintaining Forbes Five-Star service standards.
• Work closely with the Sports Club and Housekeeping teams to maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the facility.

What You'll Do

As a Public Space Attendant, you'll help ensure our Sports Club is spotless, safe, and inviting for every member and guest. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will play an important role in delivering the luxury experience our members expect.

Education

Training & Experience

• A positive attitude and passion for customer service.

Job Knowledge

• Familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation practices.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Understanding of professional etiquette and guest service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift.
• Lift and carry up to 35 pounds, including cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Safely operate vacuums, mops, and other housekeeping equipment.
• Work with cleaning chemicals while following all safety procedures.

Schedule

• Flexible availability required.
• Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
