Job Description

Join Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa's housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Porter and contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our hotel guests. You will be responsible for preparing rooms for cleaning, delivering amenities, stocking supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of public areas. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and remove amenities such as rollaway beds, ironing boards, and cribs.
  • Prepare guest rooms for cleaning, including replenishing supplies and changing linens.
  • Deliver laundry to and from the warehouse.
  • Stock linen carts and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Report hotel damages and problems to supervisors.
  • Perform thorough dusting and cleaning of assigned areas.
  • Clean vending machine areas and linen closets.
  • Spot clean walls and other surfaces.
  • Empty trash in public areas.
  • Maintain clean hallways and doors.
  • Clean and store equipment.
  • Fulfill guest service requests promptly and courteously.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Entry-level position: no prior experience required.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to learn.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
  • Knowledge of biohazards and required PPE.
  • Ability to maintain interdepartmental relationships.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, and pull for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment.
