Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and treatment areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces according to facility standards.
• Properly handle and dispose of waste, including biohazard materials, following safety protocols.
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials.
• Follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervisors.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Work cooperatively with nursing and facility staff.
