This role plays a critical part in supporting resident well-being, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.## Essential Duties* Clean and maintain public and common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors* Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly* Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris* Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers* Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed* Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility* Follow safety protocols, including the use of caution signage and proper chemical storage* Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions* Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary* Report resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing* Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment* Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude* Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently* Work independently and as part of a team to meet facility standards## ## Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus* Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines* Strong attention to detail and cleanliness* Good communication and interpersonal skills* Dependable, organized, and team-oriented## ## Apply TodayJoin Reedy River Post Acute and become part of a team that values your contributions, supports your growth, and appreciates the important role you play in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents every day.We are an equal opportunity employer.
