Job summary

MCR Hotels seeks an Overnight Housekeeping Cleaner to maintain public areas, conference rooms and restrooms during the overnight shift. You will clean, vacuum, mop and ensure facilities are tidy for guests.

The role requires eligibility to work in the U.S., some hotel housekeeping experience, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Competitive benefits follow after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to move, bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25-30 pounds.
• Ability to move up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule including 3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks in public areas and meeting rooms, including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Returns food & beverage service items found in public areas to the proper department.
• Ensures all equipment is distributed and maintained in proper operating order.
• Ensures that all public restrooms are stocked.
• Delivers guest request items to guest rooms.
• Collects and disposes of trash properly.
• Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports incidents to the on-duty supervisor.
• Reports and delivers lost and found items to Housekeeping.
• Reports needed repairs to supervisor (e.g., leaky faucets, broken tiles).
• Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

The Housekeeping Overnight Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas, including conference center meeting rooms, floor cleaning, office space and public restrooms during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities:

• Performs cleaning tasks in public areas and meeting rooms, including vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Returns food & beverage service items found in the public areas to the proper department.
• Ensure that all equipment is distributed and maintained in proper operating order.
• Ensure that all public restrooms are stocked.
• Ensure delivery of guest request items to guest rooms.
• Ensure that trash is collected and disposed of properly.
• Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to the on-duty supervisor.
• Report and deliver lost and found items to the Housekeeping office.
• Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tiles, etc.).
• Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
