Job summary

Serenity Spring Senior Living at Green Bay is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

You will work with the Environmental Services Director to develop standards, schedules, and procedures, coach staff, and coordinate with nursing service to maintain resident areas and common spaces.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with care of various floors and cleaning materials.

Responsibilities

• Assume administrative authority and supervise the housekeeping department.
• Supervise day-to-day housekeeping functions of assigned personnel.
• Assist in developing procedures for daily housekeeping tasks.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing service when cleaning areas.
• Attend department meetings and participate in in-service trainings.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained and report issues.
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and use of equipment.
