Job summary

Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle seeks a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, educate Room Attendants on brand standards, and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. You will supervise laundry and housekeeping staff, enforce health and safety standards, and coordinate with other departments to keep rooms and public areas pristine.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a related role and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• 1–2 years in a related housekeeping role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all laundry and housekeeping staff and hold them accountable for performance.
• Inspect daily cleaning of guest rooms, public areas and back of house.
• Perform daily room inspections to ensure adherence to brand standards.
• Maintain key control and log Lost and Found items.
• Provide training and coaching to housekeeping staff and give performance feedback.
• Ensure health/sanitation standards are met to achieve cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with Room Attendants about rooms not meeting quality standards and ensure timely corrections.
• Inspect staff carts and closets to ensure proper stocking, cleanliness, and organization.
• Assist with guest requests and special room preparations for VIPs and loyalty members.
