Under the direct supervision of the Building/Grounds Supervisor, responsible for housekeeping/custodial activities for building/units.
Positions for this posting are located at Whitten Regional Center, an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID) of BHDD-OIDD located in Clinton, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Experience in custodial or housekeeping work that is directly related to the area of employment.
Knowledge of how to properly carry out custodial or housekeeping tasks. Knowledge of custodial and housekeeping standards and requirements. Knowledge of safety practices relevant to the area of employment. Skill in the use of cleaning tools and equipment. Ability to read and write legibly and ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to keep accurate written records. Ability to train new employees in the proper performance of their duties. Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, and repetitive motions.
