Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) seeks a Full-Time Housekeeping Manager for NHG properties with 150+ rooms. You will oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, supervise staff, train personnel, and ensure guest room standards and facility cleanliness.

Strong focus on budgeting and regulatory compliance across multiple locations. The role requires 3 years in relevant operations and 1 year substitution options; specialized experience in procurement, staffing, and budgeting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in administrative, technical or other responsible work in hotel/motel operations and staff relations.
• 1 year substitution of education for experience may apply as per rules.
• Specialized experience in housekeeping methods including procurement, budgeting, staffing, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish NHG standards and procedures for housekeeping and laundry.
• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, manage training, staffing, and performance.
• Develop professional housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure guest service quality.
• Inspect guest rooms and facilities, report discrepancies and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and procurement within guidelines.
• Monitor budgets, payroll, supplies, and linen inventories.
• Ensure OSHA/NOSH and NHG regulatory compliance.
