Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command (NHG Little Creek) is seeking a Housekeeping Lead to supervise and perform housekeeping duties across guest rooms, public spaces, laundry areas and related facilities. The role includes training staff, conducting inspections, maintaining supplies, and ensuring guest privacy and safety.

Candidates with leadership or training experience, plus a high school diploma, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Leadership and/or training experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months housekeeping experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversees and trains housekeeping staff; passes on instructions from supervisor
• Conducts daily room inspections and maintains logs
• Ensures cleanliness, privacy and safety for guests
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; requests restocks as needed
• May travel to other NHG properties with valid driver’s license
• Performs full housekeeping duties across guest rooms, public areas and laundry areas
• Sets up and breaks down breakfast bar when required
