Job summary

Hotel Equities seeks a Housekeeping Manager for the DoubleTree by Hilton Charlottesville to supervise room cleaners, maintain cleanliness standards, and ensure guest satisfaction through proactive leadership and clear communication.

You will coordinate with front desk, engineering and food service, train new staff, schedule daily housekeeping, inspect rooms, manage inventory, and uphold company policies while delivering warm, attentive service to guests in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Qualifications

• High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping management or similar role.
• Ability to supervise and train staff, schedule tasks, and ensure standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises room cleaners in prompt and efficient housekeeping.
• Inspects rooms to ensure cleaning meets company standards.
• Keeps daily records of checkouts and stay-overs.
• Coordinates cleaning with front desk, engineering, and food service.
• Trains new department associates and ensures policy compliance.
• Manages linen and supply inventory and related records.
• Ensures guest satisfaction through accurate, courteous service.
