Job summary

Staypineapple seeks a detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to keep our housekeeping department running smoothly with a friendly, efficient approach.

You will lead a team, manage assets and staffing, and ensure top-tier guest service while controlling costs and scheduling across shifts. This role emphasizes hospitality excellence and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in Housekeeping Management.
• One to three years of related experience.
• Strong team-building skills including the ability to lead, cooperate, motivate, and contribute as part of a team.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems.
• Possess a passion to provide excellent customer service.
• Proficient at fulfilling requests in a thorough and timely manner.
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team, including hiring, performance management, training, and sharing hospitality experience.
• Manage hotel assets with cost, labor, and general business considerations in mind.
• Maintain an accurate staffing plan and prepare schedules to cover all shifts.
• Ensure the housekeeping department is staffed and functioning smoothly across shifts.

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for keeping the Housekeeping Department running smoothly in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
