**Job Description Summary:**
The Housekeeping Manager supervises the housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure quality standards and optimal service for hotel guests. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, organization, and security of linen and supplies, with a focus on guest and staff satisfaction, expense control, and product quality, contributing to the hotel's overall goals.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in upscale hotel housekeeping management
- Proficiency in English; second language preferred
- Guest relations training and experience
**Essential Skills and Duties:**
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and equipment
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Leadership in staff development, performance management, and safety standards
- Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of guest areas and staff facilities
- Managing schedules, training, and guest satisfaction initiatives
