The Housekeeping Manager will be the driving force for cleanliness in guest rooms, suites, cottages, and public spaces. Areas of knowledge and experience should include managing cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction. Occasionally assists the Housekeeping and Rooms operations as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, lead the day-to-day management of the Housekeeping department to include Supervisors, Room Attendants, Public Space Attendants, Laundry Attendants and Housepersons
• Inspect the cleanliness of rooms, suites, and cottages, as well as administering the cleaning and inspection procedures for a team of room attendants and supervisors
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively interact, coordinate and communicate through daily pre-shift meetings, opening the house, supervising linen & terry distribution, VIP preparations and turning the house
• Coordinate staffing and logistics for luxury experiences and events across 325 acres
• Conduct regular inventories and supply orders within budgeted profitability margins
• Be an expert in and demonstrate knowledge of room types, layouts, configurations, cleanliness expectations and turndown procedures

Skills and Experience:

• Must have previous Rooms Division Leadership experience (front office or housekeeping
• Ability to effectively communicate and provide directions in a clear, concise and professional manner in both verbal and written form
• Excellent team skills, including but not limited to; listening, coaching, guiding, flexible working, adaptability, collaboration, and facilitation
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays
• Must be able to walk, stand for prolonged periods as needed

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher-level education preferred, or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
