Job summary

AWS/CES is hiring a Housekeeping Manager for our Roanoke, IN facility. The role oversees janitorial operations in a large manufacturing site and leads supervisors and staff to maintain cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.

This leadership position requires strong oversight, effective communication, and the ability to drive improvements in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required as needed; shift is 1st, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, with temp-to-hire potential.

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or facility services.
• Experience supervising teams in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience with KPI tracking and performance reporting is a plus.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead housekeeping supervisors and janitorial staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and track housekeeping projects from start to completion.
• Communicate project timelines, progress, and completion status to customers and site leadership.
• Ensure Help Desk requests are completed within established KPI response times.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all service requests.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
• Direct daily operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping goals.
• Monitor and report key performance metrics through the BPD process.
• Ensure SMART goals and corrective action plans are implemented and maintained.
• Promote a safe work environment by ensuring all incidents are reported accurately and on time.
• Consistently enforce company policies, attendance expectations, and disciplinary procedures.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, leadership, and employees.
