Job summary

The Cutalong at Tributer Resort in Mineral, VA is seeking a dedicated housekeeping supervisor to oversee guest rooms, public spaces and heart-of-house areas, ensuring standards are consistently met and guest satisfaction remains top priority.

You will lead the housekeeping team, coordinate training and scheduling, monitor performance, and collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional service across the resort’s amenities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a high-volume setting preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience in a Four Diamond quality organization preferred.
• Experience with Windows, Office, and property management systems highly desirable.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Be an expert on services/features, hours, room types, and daily house count to answer guest inquiries promptly.
• Prepare and distribute room assignment sheets for staff and ensure end-of-shift completions.
• Communicate assignment changes and manage distribution records for keys and devices.
• Inspect and maintain safety and cleanliness of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Provide heartfelt care and urgency to guest opportunities and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet daily demands.
• Protect guest confidentiality and data in proper protocols.
• Foster strong relationships across departments with regular communication.
• Assist management with recruiting, training, and supporting team members.

Overview

Located in Mineral, Virginia, Cutalong at Tributer Resort spans 1,000 acres bordering Lake Anna and is poised to become a premier destination in Virginia. The development plan includes 900 residential entitlements, featuring estate homes and homesites, executive homesites,cottages, villas, townhomes and luxury condominium accommodations. The resort's planned amenities include a spa & wellness center, multiple restaurants, social and conference meeting space and a rich array of resort activities all anchored by the prestigious Cutalong Golf Club.

This position shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for oversight of the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public space, and heart-of-house areas. Additionally, s/he will administer all aspects of the guest room maintenance program and provide leadership, guidance, and support to the housekeeping team (to include, but not limited to, laundry and uniform teams) in the areas of guest service, training, scheduling, and performance management for the overall successful day-to-day operations. This position is fully committed to ensuring that all procedures are performed to the department and company standards and serve as an ambassador for CoralTree.

Responsibilities

• Be an expert and demonstrate knowledge of all services/features, hours of operations, room types, daily house count, expected arrivals/departures, room availability status, and scheduled in-house group activities to anticipate and respond to guest inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Prepare and properly distribute room assignment sheets to scheduled staff and ensure assignments are completed at the end of each shift.
• Effectively communicate changes of assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift. Assign and maintain accurate distribution records of keys and communication equipment (e.g. radio, beepers, phones, etc.).
• Consistently perform inspections and maintain safety and cleanliness of guest rooms, public space, and heart-of-house areas Instills a calm, organized approach when interacting in stressful situations.
• Approach internal and external guest opportunities with a sense of heartfelt care and urgency; provide prompt follow-up to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
• Ensure that sufficient staffing is present to meet the daily business demands.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow proper protocol to secure and protect pertinent data.
• Foster and maintain strong, positive relationships with team members across all departments through communication and regular face-to-face interaction.
• Assist management to recruit, hire, train, and successfully support and manage the talent of all new and existing team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a high volume setting preferred.

• Previous experience with Windows, Office, and property management systems highly desirable.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in the basic English language.
• Ability to effectively communicate and provide directions in a clear, concise, and professional manner in both verbal and written form.
• Demonstrate ability to compute basic arithmetic.
• Must be available to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.

Physical Requirements

Most work tasks are performed indoors with some outdoor activity- Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity

- Ability to stand for long hours and lift 50lbs.
