Job summary

STHS Heart is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to assist in maintaining high cleanliness standards across assigned areas. You will support the Supervisor by training staff, ensuring schedules are followed, and promoting a service-minded attitude among the team.

You will monitor equipment, ensure proper use of supplies, and maintain professional relations with patients and staff. The role requires stepping in for the Supervisor when needed and adhering to the organization’s compliance

Qualifications

• 1 year previous commercial housekeeping experience preferred.
• After initial training, demonstrate ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment properly.
• Commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct per policies and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor/Manager to maintain high quality standards and ensure schedules are completed.
• Train, supervise and motivate environmental services personnel.
• Inspect equipment daily and maintain cleanliness and good repair.
• Maintain good relations with patients, facility and staff; assume responsibility in supervisor's absence.
