Qualifications

• Experience/evidence of training or experience demonstrating ability to perform the work.
• Qualifications will be evaluated per OPM Federal Wage System standards.
• Full year of work equates to 35–40 hours per week; part-time experience credited proportionally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with supervisors of other services to avoid interrupting patient care.
• Responsible for cleaning of all patient areas and related spaces.
• Ensure efficient and economical completion of subordinates’ assignments within established policies.
• Plan daily and weekly assignments and schedule periodic work considering personnel and equipment availability.
• Train staff on patient-centered care principles and customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Provide on-the-job training and adjust methods to changing patient needs and safety policies.
• Schedule regular staff meetings to communicate new procedures and directives.
• Inspect areas to ensure sanitation, equipment care, and adherence to safety standards.
