Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Downtown French Quarter – Housekeeper Lead by Aimbridge Hospitality seeks a motivated individual to oversee housekeeping duties, maintain guest room cleanliness, and serve as the main contact for the team and guests in a busy downtown hotel.

The role emphasizes daily room service, cart stocking, linen replacement, and adherence to brand standards and safety protocols. Leadership experience is desirable for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, hotel experience preferred.
• Supervisory/leadership experience desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with guests and team.
• Ability to convey information clearly and decide among actions quickly.
• Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel scheduling needs.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform compliance.
• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and safety procedures.
• Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
• Prepare rooms and supplies for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• May assist with inspecting rooms or overseeing room attendant duties.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
