The role requires a four year degree or related experience, healthcare housekeeping experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules and inventories.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or related experience preferred.
• Two years experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision desired.
• Strong leadership, motivation, and staff supervision abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and quality mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals; public speaking skills helpful.
• Proficiency with Windows Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers and oversees equipment operation and maintenance.
• Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment.
• Forecasts supplies and equipment and plans staffing.
• Maintains records for inventory, compliance, and payroll.
• Conducts staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Ensures survey readiness and compliance with regulations.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and participates in facility meetings.
