Caprock Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor Lead to manage our Environmental Services team, keeping residents, visitors, and staff safe and comfortable.

You will hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff; schedule shifts; manage supplies and budgets; and oversee cleaning, disinfection, and linen workflows to ensure infection control.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong supervisory or leadership experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Understands infection control and sanitation protocols in long-term care.
• Demonstrates genuine care and compassion for elderly and disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Schedule department shifts aligned with census and budgets.
• Order and manage supplies within budget.
• Oversee cleaning tasks: mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, disinfecting.
