Whispering Pines Lodge is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to lead our Environmental Services team in a healthcare-focused facility. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, develop schedules, and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

The ideal candidate brings supervisory experience, strong communication, and a commitment to infection control, elderly care, and high-quality service. This is a full-time on-site role at a long-term care setting in Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably healthcare.
• Strong supervisory or leadership experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Knowledge of infection control and sanitation protocols in long-term care.
• Demonstrates genuine care for elderly and disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping and laundry staff; hire, train, supervise, and evaluate.
• Create department schedules aligned with census and labor budgets.
• Order and manage supply levels within budget controls.
• Oversee cleaning routines and ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Conduct inspections for sanitation, infection control, and cleanliness.
• Provide instruction on safe and effective cleaning and laundry procedures.
• Support daily operations with linen delivery and organized supply rooms.
