Job summary

Florence Home in Omaha, NE is seeking a Lead Housekeeping/Laundry to oversee housekeeping services for assigned areas of our care community and train and supervise staff. The role emphasizes timely, high-quality cleaning, safety, and positive resident interactions.

You will manage scheduling, mentor team members, and ensure our facilities are clean and welcoming for residents, families, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial experience is required.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong focus on customer service and ability to establish rapport with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to organize own work and lead a team to achieve results.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

• Provide quality housekeeping and laundry services
• Clean assigned areas of the building including emptying trash, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, dusting, etc.
• Inspect work of housekeeping/laundry staff on a daily basis to ensure quality standards are being met and building is clean and presentable for our residents, their families, staff, and visitors.
• Train new laundry and housekeeping employees on processes, appropriate use of chemicals and equipment, and safety procedures
• Approve time in payroll system

LEAD HOUSEKEEPING/LAUNDRY
