Job summary

Forest Hills Center is seeking a Supervisor for the Housekeeping and Laundry Department to oversee daily activities and ensure compliance with current standards and regulations, maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable facility.

The role includes coordinating with nursing services, attending QAPI meetings, and directing staff to follow schedules and procedures while adhering to infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping staff.
• Understanding of infection control in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical; in accordance with established policies and procedures including infection control.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor on the shift.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments.
• Participate in monthly QAPI meetings and any audits or projects.
• Attend departmental and staff meetings as directed or called.
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Participate in OSHA and CDC in-service training programs for hazard communication, TB management, and blood borne pathogens standard.
