Job summary

The Eagle-Pointe-Skilled-Nursing facility in Orwell Township, Ohio seeks a Housekeeper to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, as directed by the Administrator and Director of Housekeeping/Laundry, to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning all areas, following instructions, interacting with residents and staff, and occasionally working outside of normal hours.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Inspect resident rooms/units for sanitation and safety.
• Coordinate with other departments and staff as needed.
