Job summary

Patewood Post Acute in Greenville, SC is hiring a dedicated Housekeeping / Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. This full-time role supports infection control and contributes to overall resident satisfaction.

You will perform room cleaning, laundry tasks, and sanitize high-touch areas while following safety protocols and delivering friendly, reliable service. We value teamwork and compassion for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Housekeeping experience required (healthcare or long-term care preferred).
• Compassion for an underserved population.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Perform laundry duties (wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens/clothing).
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Sanitize surfaces including handrails, fixtures, and high-touch areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal properly.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain organized housekeeping carts and supply areas.
• Report safety concerns and supply needs promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
