Job summary

River Crossing Rehab & Healthcare Center in St. Louis is seeking team members for our Housekeeping Department to maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented environment. Join our active, fast-paced team while making an impact on patient care.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to vaccinate.
• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Ability to speak and write English.
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general cleaning procedures and sanitation techniques.
• Courteous and professional interaction with residents and staff.
• Successful completion of background screening.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping assignments according to procedures.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish furnishings.
• Clean floors and bathrooms as directed.
• Check and clean assigned vacant rooms as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control practices.
• Clean work carts and equipment as required.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
