Summary:

Allure of Walnut is seeking individuals to join our laundry and housekeeping team. The primary responsibility of these positions is to perform daily activities in the Housekeeping/Laundry Department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, under the direction of the Administrator and/or the Director of Environmental Services. The goal is to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow work/cleaning schedules closely.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor.
• Coordinate housekeeping services with nursing staff during routine cleaning in resident areas.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and bathroom fixtures.
• Clean floors through sweeping, dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting.
• Dispose of waste into proper containers and relining trash receptacles.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' protected health information and report any violations.
• Follow safety precautions and proper techniques when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Use personal protective equipment when handling infectious materials or hazardous chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
