Job summary

Villa Maria Nursing is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to provide quality housekeeping services and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

The Housekeeping Aide cleans resident rooms and bathrooms on a scheduled basis to meet high standards of cleanliness, infection control, safety and hazardous communication. The role also mixes housekeeping and laundry duties and plans efficient use of time while cooperating with all staff to minimize disruption to residents.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas of the facility, including resident rooms and bathrooms, on a scheduled basis.
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area and supports infection control and safety programs.
• Assists in maintaining adequate supplies needed in the department.

TheHousekeeping Aideplans efficient use of time, cooperates with all other staff and performs responsibilities with minimum disruption to the residents and staff. Maintains a clean, orderly work area and department. TheHousekeeping Aideassists in maintaining adequate supplies needed in the department.
