Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to perform a range of cleaning tasks in a healthcare/office environment, ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing fixtures, cleaning windows and common areas, and handling trash while following established cleaning protocols.

The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules; candidates will be cross-trained for laundry and may assist with light facility maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms and surfaces, cleaning windows and blinds, and organizing areas for maintenance.
• Reports issues to supervisor and assists with laundry cross-training as needed.

Housekeeping Aide - Full-time & Part Time

• Performs a variety of housekeeping tasks as needed (e.g., pulls out furniture and beds in order to clean around; runs vacuum cleaner; sweeps floors; uses mop and auto scrubber to mop floors; cleans and sanitizes toilets, sinks and showers; collects and disposes of trash weighing up to approximately 20 pounds; dusts on and around furniture; washes windows and screens; cleans blinds; wipes walls and stairwells to clean of dust and debris; cleans and sanitizes phones, remotes, call lights, door handles, hand rails, etc.; climbs ladder as needed. Organizes and cleans cupboards and fridges. Reports areas to supervisor that need repaired, painted or replaced in the building.
• Will be cross-trained for laundry as well.
