• Learn the position details of Housekeeping staff (Room Attendant, Laundry, PAC, Houseperson, Turndown, Supervisor/Director)
• Understand daily operational duties of Supervisor & Director of Housekeeping
• Execute scheduling (management vs. hourly)
• Shadow Housekeeping Management Team
• Shadow coaching opportunities for room inspections
• Attend 9:00 AM management stand up
• Complete special projects as assigned

Primary Focus: Housekeeping Training

• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
• Train on Forbes standards (Housekeeping Specific)
• Train on various Housekeeping roles
• Skills focused on:
• Learning the position details of the Housekeeping department (i.e. Room Attendant, Laundry, PAC, Houseperson, Turndown, Supervisor/Inspector, Director of Housekeeping)
• Understanding daily operational duties of Supervisor & Director of Housekeeping

Primary Focus – Execution of Departmental Roles & Management Shadow

• Both AM/PM Shifts – work department roles as schedule needs
• Shadow Housekeeping Management Team
• Scheduling (management vs. hourly)
• Execute the inspection of guest rooms
• Shadow coaching opportunities for room inspections
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
• Attend 9:00 AM management stand up with assigned manager
• Complete special project as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing a degree in Hospitality is highly preferred.
• Previous related experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate departments at the organization’s facilities.
