The Housekeeping Inspector ensures guest rooms meet Coconut Palms Beach Resort II's standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation. This role verifies room readiness and supports staff to maintain exceptional quality.
Inspect assigned rooms for cleanliness, proper setup, and supply levels.
Document deficiencies and verify timely corrections.
Report maintenance issues immediately.
Provide coaching and quality-check support for staff.
Inspect VIP rooms and special request accommodations.
Coordinate room readiness with other resort departments.
Assist with cleaning when needed during high-demand periods.
Uses phone to track/monitor room cleans through the location's computer program.
Pre and post-storm preparations.
Support laundry or public-area tasks as required.
Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience required.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to coach and support team members effectively.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and push/pull carts.
Indoor and outdoor work environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals.
