Job summary

LATOUR HOTELS & RESORTS, INC. in Ocean City, MD is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead daily housekeeping operations, maintain high cleanliness standards, and ensure guest satisfaction.

You will manage staff, schedules, and inventories, coordinate with maintenance, and uphold safety and quality control across all rooms and public areas.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping leadership experience required.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules.
• High school diploma required; higher education preferred.
• Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain housekeeping supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Train, develop, and coach staff on cleaning procedures and service standards.
• Monitor labor costs, supply usage, and budget needs.
• Prepare staffing schedules and assign daily tasks.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards.
• Lead regular team meetings to communicate expectations and updates.
• Use all computer systems as required by the location.

Position Summary

The Executive Housekeeper oversees all housekeeping operations to ensure a consistently clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role provides leadership, directs daily workflow, maintains standards, and ensures guest satisfaction through effective team management and quality control.
