Overview

The BSR Housekeeping team is looking for hardworking, positive, detail-oriented Team Leaders! Do you have an acute eye for detail? Are you comfortable speaking in front of groups and also one-on-one? Are you organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment? This is a very important role here at the resort! You are the last line of defense that we have in getting our rooms “Guest Ready” to exceed all expectations. You will start your day with a group of housekeepers that are looking to you for direction that you developed with the assistance of the Executive Housekeeping Manager.

Responsibilities

This might be the job for you if you:

  • Enjoy working both in a team environment and as an individual.
  • Communicate positive and negative feedback in a constructive way.
  • Take the initiative on projects in your area with your team of housekeepers.
  • Are comfortable communicating with the Front Desk and Maintenance when it comes to early arrivals and work orders for same day arrival rooms/owner arrivals.
  • Own and take responsibility for your own area of the Hotels and crew of Housekeepers.
  • Are willing to jump in and help your crew tackle the big day ahead of your team, stripping/making beds, cleaning bathrooms, clearing halls, picking up rooms from another Team Leader to help us succeed in serving our guests in a timely manner.
  • Have your team of Management for support and backup on those busy days so that no one falls behind. We are all about practicing teamwork here and lending a helping hand when needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping and/or cleaning experience preferred.
  • Eye for detail and a passion to ensure guest rooms are in proper order.
  • Comfortable communicating via radio.
  • Experience in hotel/resort hospitality preferred.
  • Able to work a varying schedule to reflect business needs of the hotels.
  • Physical requirements may include: walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, and typing/sitting at a computer for extended periods of time.
