Job description

We are hiring a Housekeeping Lead!

Responsibilities:

1. Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
2. Supervise up to 15 Guest Room Attendants.
3. Deal promptly and effectively with guest complaints and requests.
4. Enforce self-inspection system.
5. Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure cleanliness standards.
6. Conduct ongoing training for housekeeping staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
7. Promote teamwork and boost employee morale.
8. Assist in pre-shift meetings, distribute keys and assignments, and ensure grooming standards are met.
9. Communicate policies and procedures for housekeeping and special projects.
10. Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, laundry areas, lost and found, storage rooms, employee break room, and Guest Room Attendant’s carts.
11. Ensure rooms are ready daily and maintain key control.
12. Ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attentive service.
13. Check and report on the operation of fixtures, electronics, and HVAC equipment.
14. Set equipment and radios to proper settings.
15. Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report requests.
16. Log daily cleaned rooms on housekeeping reports.
17. Fold linens and towels while waiting for rooms to be cleaned.
18. Maintain cleanliness of carts, linen rooms, and cleaning equipment.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00

Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.
