A Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests to ensure outstanding guest service and support hotel profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Houseperson, your responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining designated areas, responding to guest requests, and supporting the hotel’s service standards. Specific tasks include:

• Cleaning designated areas such as restrooms, public spaces, offices, and meeting rooms
• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning floors, removing trash, and emptying ashtrays
• Greeting guests warmly and professionally
• Reporting maintenance issues and repair needs
• Stocking and maintaining supply rooms
• Performing deep cleaning and special projects when needed
• Assisting with guest room cleaning and fulfilling guest requests
