Job summary

Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park is seeking a Houseperson Supervisor to oversee the Housekeeping Houseperson team and ensure public areas meet Omni standards. You’ll coordinate guest requests and lead floor care activities with a focus on service quality and efficiency.

The role emphasizes supervisory leadership, training staff, and maintaining a fast-paced, welcoming environment for guests and associates alike, with a commitment to consistent cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months housekeeping/environmental services experience.
• Hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to train staff to handle high volumes while maintaining quality.

Houseperson Supervisor

Overview

To supervise the Housekeeping Houseperson team and ensure all Housekeeping areas are being fully serviced and cleaned. Also ensure that all assigned public areas are serviced in accordance to Omni Standards.

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest requests and gives direction to others to complete guest requests.
• Ensures that Housepersons are working appropriately with GRAs or Turndown Attendants.
• Leads floor care team and completes floor care responsibilities as needed.
• Checks chute rooms and guest room corridors to cleanliness.
• Checks inventory of linen rooms closets.
• Checks vending machine area.
• Assists in moving furniture.
• Provides guidance and performance feedback to Houseperson team.

Qualifications

• Candidate is required to have at least 6 month housekeeping / environmental services experience required, with hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferred. Previous supervisory experience also strongly preferred.
• Ability to set priorities for assigned areas/staff and provide feedback to others that enhances performance
• Ability to teach employees importance of, and how to interact with internal/external guests and courteously solve internal requests.
• Ability to train a staff to produce high volumes of work while maintaining quality per Omni standards.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by radio.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
• Self-motivated, and ability to work with limited supervision
• Able to maintain4-Diamond level cleanliness standards
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Move, carry and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and move, push, pull objects weighing up to 100 lbs. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion, with frequent bending, twisting and reaching overhead.
