Job summary

Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is seeking a Houseperson to clean and maintain designated hotel areas and assist guests with requests, contributing to outstanding service and profitability.

You will perform duties such as cleaning restrooms, public areas, offices, and meeting rooms; respond to guest needs; greet guests warmly; and report maintenance deficiencies while stocking supplies. This role supports daily hotel operations in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting rooms.
• Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, washing windows and trash removal.

• Report maintenance deficiencies and assist with repairs as needed.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms and assist in cleaning guest rooms as required.
• Complete deep cleaning tasks and special projects when needed.

Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is looking to expand their housekeeping team!

A Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Pay Rate: $18.51 per hour

Shift Pattern: 8am-5:30pm Weekdays/ 9:30am - 6pm Weekends

Our ideal candidate is a team player a multi-tasker and has a passion for hospitality.

What will I be doing?

As a Houseperson you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Clean designated areas including but not limited to restrooms public areas offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms


• Perform tasks including but not limited to dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures vacuuming mopping sweeping shampooing carpets washing windows cleaning/waxing floors removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays


• Greet guests in a friendly manner


• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair


• Stock and maintain supply rooms as needed


• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping furniture moves etc.) as needed


• Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
