Located two blocks from the Magnificent Mile, this hotel offers 455 guest rooms and suites, 11,439 square feet of meeting and event space, and exceptional dining options.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Shift Pattern: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: The hourly rate upon hire is $23.90. After 90 days, it increases to $24.90. After 9 months, it increases to $25.90.

What will I be doing?

As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests, aiming to deliver outstanding guest service and support the hotel's profitability. Specific tasks include:

• Cleaning designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting rooms
• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing trash, and emptying ashtrays
• Greeting guests in a friendly manner
• Reporting maintenance issues and repair needs
• Stocking and maintaining supply rooms
• Performing deep cleaning and special projects as needed
• Delivering guest requests and assisting in cleaning guest rooms
