Avid Hotel Murfreesboro by IHG is seeking a Housekeeping Houseman to maintain clean, welcoming guest rooms and bathrooms. You will clean, restock supplies, and ensure spaces meet high cleanliness standards, while greeting guests with a friendly smile and offering assistance as needed.

You will perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, ensuring the hotel environment feels like a home away from home for every guest.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and ensure bathrooms sparkle with cleanliness.
• Restock all guest room supplies including soap and shampoo.
• Organize the linen closet, restock your cart, and prepare for the next day’s tasks before the end of each shift.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile and provide assistance when needed.

As Housekeeper Houseman, you will

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards.

To be successful in this role, you need basic English communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
