Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Charlotte, NC to ensure guest rooms meet high standards and feel like home away from home. You will clean, dust, vacuum, change linens, restock supplies, and greet guests with a friendly smile to ensure a comfortable stay.

This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and consistent movement throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic English communication required.
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds and occasional 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, polish and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds and leave bathrooms sparkling.
• Restock guest room supplies such as soap and shampoo.
• Organize linen closet and restock cart; prepare for the next day.
• Greet guests with a friendly smile during shifts.

As Housekeeper, you will

• Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
• Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
• Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
• Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.

Fundamentals

To be successful in this role, you need basic English communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
