Hireology is seeking a Houseperson to support the housekeeping department in维护 guestrooms, hallways, and hotel premises. You will assist Room Attendants by stripping rooms, cleaning floors, windows, and storage areas, and handling linen distribution.

The role involves routine cleaning, handling of cleaning equipment, and assisting in maintaining a clean and organized environment for guests and staff. Lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced hotel setting.

• Assists Room Attendants by stripping vacant rooms.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstery with vacuum, broom, and shampoo machine.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax and polish floors.
• Clean balcony windows in some rooms and clean guest areas daily.
• Handle linen supplies, distribute linen to closets, and organize storage areas.
• Perform high-dusting, heavy vacuuming, and equipment maintenance.
• Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses as needed.

REPORTS TO: HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER

REQUIREMENTS: Perform any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

SUMMARY: Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, guest rooms, ice storage rooms and Housekeeping storage areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. Additional tasks may be assigned.

• Provides assistance to Room Attendants by stripping vacant rooms.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom, and shampoo machine.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax and polish floors.
• Vacuum / Sweep guest hallways daily.
• Cleans balcony windows in C/O rooms daily.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Empties dirty linens from GRA carts, separating terry and linen.
• Receives linen supplies.
• Receive Housekeeping supplies.
• Distributes linen to closets.
• Cleans and organizes linen and supplies to storage closets daily.
• Washes wall and ceilings, moves and arranges furniture, and turns mattresses.
• Cleans elevator landings on guest floors, ice machine areas, fore exits Takes items to guests when requested.
• Is responsible for high dusting, heavy vacuuming and general cleaning of HSKPG closets and guest hallways.
• Responsible for the care and upkeep of all equipment used to perform duties.
• Distributes monthly magazines to storage closets placement in rooms.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
