JOB TITLE: Housekeeper SERVICE LINE: Skilled Nursing

REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Position Summary

The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the clean and presentable appearance of the facility.

Qualifications:

• Caring, compassionate, and understanding
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Housekeeping experience is preferable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs general housekeeping duties such as: vacuuming, mopping, emptying waste containers, cleaning and sanitizing, and dusting in common areas, hallways, rest rooms and resident rooms.

Handles and mixes chemicals safely and properly.

Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.

Moves furniture, such as beds, dressers, etc. from one room to another as needed with assistance.

Assists with special projects as requested such as stripping and re-finishing floors, carpet shampooing, wall washing, etc.

Commits to high ethical standards and complies with the Code of Conduct, state and federal regulations, accreditation standards and Concordia policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of resident and employee records and information. Has a duty to report compliance concerns, significant legal risk questions, fraud, abuse, suspected or actual misconduct to a supervisor/manager or to the Corporate Compliance Officer.
